I have a Homegroup set up on my Windows 7 machine. 1 other windows 7 PC & 2 windows 7 laptops have been able to join the Homegroup without issue.

I recently got a Windows 8.1 laptop which I cannot get to join the Homegroup. After I put in the password I get a message saying - Windows No Longer Detects A Homegroup On This Network Joining Homegroup.

I have run the Homegroup trouble shooting wizard on the 8.1 machine. No issues found. Time and date are the same, Homegroup name the same.

I am at a loss as how to get the Win8.1 to join the Homegroup. Anyone come across this issue and found a solution?
