Locked out of my router?

Can anyone offer any advice, I'm trying to access my router to set up some port forwarding however all access to my router appears to be "locked out" I can't even edit my SSID or change my wireless password.

Does anyone know of a way around this? I've contacted my ISP twice but I'm apparently in a queue awaiting for a networks engineer to call me back to discuss what I require changing.

Reset to default using the reset button on the back. Then log in using the default password (from the user manual/website)

NB this will reset everything, your SSID, the whole lot. But if you've lost your password then it's your only way I'm afraid.

What I'd be afraid of is, is a full reset also clearing the ADSL settings assuming this is ADSL modem router. If the OP doesn't have those it might take ages for the ISP to get it sorted.

Sorry I'm trying to post the image of what I see on my screen when I connect to my routers IP address. But Hexus doesn't seem to like it.

I have no access to any of the settings that are stored on the fiber optic router that has been provided for me its got my ISP's branding all over and no model number except C5, although I believe it to be a TP-Link AC 1200. I don't have a "password" if that makes sense?

Which ISP is it? Some ISPs lock down their routers so the end user cannot change any settings.

Get yourself your own router/modem, get the settings you need from your ISP, set it up, and relax.

I wouldn't even bother with that - I'd just change ISP ASAP.

I understand an ISP wanting to control the hardware and many of the settings that people are using to connect to the network - it reduces the number of variables when they're providing support. OTOH, if they're this late rolling out the capability to change any of the settings on your own router, I wouldn't have much confidence in their ability to run the networks either...
