    ADSL Firewall Router replacement

    OK, Netgear DG834G With wireless has died. Some of you seem less than suprised
    I got it second hand, so have no reciept, so its not gonna go back under warranty

    I need a hardware firewall, I wont have another PC running smoothwall, got three PC's in here already
    Need 4 ports minimum

    So do I:

    Buy an EBUYER VALUE ROUTER for £27 inc vat and forget Wireless for the future short term

    or

    Buy another Netgear Model and sneak this one back in the box under warranty

    or

    maybe this ZOOM 4port + 1USB cos at £58 that seems pretty good value and the USB might be usefull for older PC's without network cards.

    Are these Firewalls anygood on these models?

    Cheers

    I have an Edimax 10/100 5port switch and an Edimax 802.11g W/AP. As such I'd recommend this:

    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=152764

    Edimax seem to do things by standards rather than add in their own "special features", keeping them cheap and compatible. My switch has run 24/7 for over two years and has never had a hitch and my W/AP has been running for the last couple of weeks without a problem (I've not had it long.)

    I don't have experience with the exact product listed above, however.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();
