    Please could someone explain the credit system for emule in simpler terms than the official website?

    It is free, but there is a credit system to do with a ratio of the amount of files you upload to the speed you can download files. e.g. the more files you upload and the faster - the faster you can download files and the higher prority you have (which takes precidence over the other priority system). Some say that having a low upload speed increases you download speed, only on 56k, but it hampers your download speed the lower your upload speed.

    Oh right, found the FAQ file.

    I don't really understand it either, it seems to simply be that a user can grant these credits to people they are uploading to, provided that person is uploading too. However, I've been using eMule for quite a while and have never even heard of these until today, so I'm not sure how useful they are
