    Extremely happy with Plusnet.

Static IP is £5 (on off fee), great pings, no downtime, I use my Ubiquiti USG with it. Zero hassle.

Re: Fibre ISP that allows you to use your own router?

i've been on both pn's biz and residential side.

generally i've not had the issues some of you have had. Yes on on the residential side i've had long waits. I did leave them in 2006 and i wasn't ever asked for the router back. This may have changed when BT took them over. They are supposed be independent but owned by bt.

as others have said.. Zen, bt, talk-talk etc will allow you to use your own router. You can always ask before signing up. Of course you won't get support for router/modem issues ..
