    Help!

Hi guys. A lady at my church has been having problems with her computer. Anytime she plugged her network connection in she got bombarded with pop-ups. "Spyware!" says me, so I take a disc with a few programs (Ad-aware, Spybot and Spyware Blaster) on it to clean it up. Find a few problems, remove them, and then use IE to download Firefox. I install Firefox and then open up a window. Wouldn't let me in though. '[Page] not found'. I try IE and get 'Unable to display page'. Adaware etc can't connect to download updates, but when I check her LAN connection it says it's connected and working fine.

Anyone have any ideas. I'm the best they've got so far and I'm stuck.

    Thanks.

Don't think that's the issue but I'll check it out. One gentleman suggested that some of the spyware may have corrupted the TCP/IP protocol when removed. Rebuilding that might be my next plan of attack. Any credence to this?
