    XP and Centrino

I have a Centrino based laptop and seem to have an issue with the wireless set-up.

    1) the windows wireless icon (in the taskbar) says it isn't connected to my gateway when it is!
    2) the Toshiba wireless icon behaves as you would expect. i.e on is on off is off etc!!
    3) After about 10 minutes it looses connectivity even when sat next to the router (Linksys WAG54G)

Why is it the Windows and Toshiba configuration works together but tell different things?

If you are using the Toshiba wireless config, disable the XP one. Or vice-versa. Don't have 2 WiFi config utils running at the same time.

Thanks. I will try and Disable the Toshiba one as if you disable the XP one it takes the other one with it!
