    garrrgh dsl-504 madness

being disconnected 4 times a day now, despite applying all appropriate settings to router - so I get to RMA it back to Dlink, but went to try and configure it as a bridge to my downstream router, but of course it fails. after a good 15 minutes of following instructuions from dlink support (in germany) finally ignored them, and used settings that I know work,.
the "good" news is that there is a serious fault, and it's not all in my head... sodding thing wouldn't even allow me to manually rebuild the routing table.

UPNP XML code sent from MSN v5+ crashed mine too. Disabling the UPNP support didnt help either...
