    NTL (typical install) and WGR614

Has anyone used this combo before?

My sister is about to go back to uni in leeds and is getting NTL broadband.
Now, she'll be getting the typical install with the modem and malarkey, but she shares with 4 other girls (no, i'm not giving you her address) who all have wireless, therefore a wireless AP and router/switch are needed.

I've never been in a place where I could have cable... so if anyone is using NTL with an additional wireless access point and router... any recommendations are welcome.

    Thanks all

Linksys WRT54G. Plugs straight into the RJ45 port on the cable modem, and is easy to setup with the webbased interface.

I've got the same setup, WGR614 with WG511 cards in machines with no onboard wifi.

Not had any real problems with it, generally easy to setup although getting WPA to work proved a little difficult. I would advise locking down the wireless setup as much as possible otherwise you might find half her street using her connection (there are lots of clever computing students in Leeds - trust me )
