    Wireless networking problems..

    Hey guys

Here is my situation. I have just bought a 54G wireless router and I am trying to setup a network at home. I have a wired PC using one of the ethernet ports on the router, and a 802.11g wireless built-in laptop which connects to the internet through the router. Both are comfortably on the internet, but now im wanting to be able to access files on my pc via my laptop as if it was an extra drive. I have gone through numerous methods, but I cant seem to be able to gain access from my laptop or from my PC. I am really new to all this networking stuff, but keen to be able to set this up. Can anyone help me?

    Thanks in advance

    Chris

Probably nowt wrong with your network connection, you need to learn how to set up file sharing on the 2 computers on whatever OS you`ve got. If it`s Windoze, look it up in the Help and Support section.
Basically, both computers need to be in the same workgroup if it is Windoze and the drives need to be shared. Go to control panel/system tab is computer name and do the network id wizard. Then use the right click option when you bring the drive up in my computer and you`ll see sharing. XPSP2 may need some security sorted but you should find any further answers in help and support.
