    prblem with analogX proxy

I am using AnalogX proxy program to share our AOL broadband connection via our LAN, We have 2 PCs connected via a crossover cable. It seems to work fine at my end and i can connect to the web etc.

But whenever i am using the internet to download etc the gateway machine that is conneced to the modem slows right down and sometimes hangs.

Any idea what might be causing this?

My macine is a shuttle SN45G using the onboard LAN connection., my dads machine is a P3 667 using a PCI network card

    Cheers

ICS does not work with AOL broadband as it uses a different standard from other providers.

I am also using Netlimiter on my machine to prevent me from hogging all the bandwidth
