    Wireless Super-G (108Mb/S) - what is it?

I've seen several manufacturers of networking equipment talk about 'Super-G'. This theoretically provides 108Mb/S. Is this a ratified standard?

The reason I ask is that I want to buy a new Draytek Vigor 2800G wireless ADSL router. It supports Super-G but Draytek don't make their own Super-G PCI card for desktops (or PCMCIA cards for laptops for that matter).

Thus, can I buy a 'Super-G' PCI card for my desktop from anyone and expect Super-G speeds when used with the Draytek router?

Super-G uses packet-bursting, "fast frames", on-the-fly data compression / decompression, and dual-channel bonding to provide throughput enhancement.

I think its an Atheros standard.

If you want to know more about it I suggest you read this:
