    Issues uninstalling program

I somehow managed to download one of those "free download accelerator" programs, and it didn't show up as a program to uninstall (under control panel). So, I did a search on the file, and deleted it. This was obviously a bad idea, because now my computer will not download anything. I think somewhere I have it set to use the accelerator to download things, because it still shows up as an option when I right-click on things. "Save target as" also won't work.

Reinstall the program it will overwrite what is still left on your machine. Then you can find a way of uninstalling it.

blargh... ok. I found another download manager, but it ended up being a different one (the issue is that it was just called "fast download accelerator", which returned several 100 hits). Now, I can download things with this new one... but how do I reset the default? I know there is a way, because when I installed this new program it said "do you want to make DAP the default download manager?"
