Funny router problems

I've got one of these 1 port LinkSYS cable router boxes which I've had running for a while.
Whats happened is I've updated the firmware for this and this has had some funny effects to my email collection.
What happens is when Eudora goes to collect my mail 4 out of the 9 or so accounts won't connect and it'll complain back at me that the server was not reachable. This however wasn't the case with the old firmware.

I have also tried to downgrade back to the older version of firmware, but I keep getting an error about not being able to access the server, even tho' all the information is correct.


The other annoying thing is that I keep having to re-set the router on more occasions than I want to (once a day usually).....
Anyone got any clues before I go out and burn £50+ on a proper piece of kit?

This might seem weird but try deleting one of your mail accounts and setting it up fresh. Sometimes they just mess up even though you haven't made a change at all.

see if u can ping ur mail servers first.
