    I've got a punch tool for the back but no panel and crimps

    Maplin sell by the metre

    it is also possible to buy plugs designed to be crimped using ordinary pliers - they have a shaped piece of metal running laterally across that you push down to force the cable in - I did my first cables that way

    but I'd rather use the proper tools and a bag of a plugs - dispose of anything that isn't perfect - it saves time in the long term
