    Wireless Connecton Keeps Dipping

    Hi,

My broadband is supplied through BT and im using the Bt Voyager ADSL modem and a Wireless G Plus Mimo USB Network Adapter for connection.

Every 10 minutes or so (give or take) the connection will reset (the windows status balloon pops up saying you are now connected, Signal strength very good etc).

Any ideas what the problem is?

could it be a cordless telephone set? Or even an old microwave.

try turning them off, and see what happens.
also try changing the channel of your wireless router!

If you ave encryption enabled try turning it off.

I had a simalir issue with a belkin router and a gigabyte wireless card, worked fine with teh linksys router though.

On the machine with the wireless USB device - download Netstumbler (google it) and see if theres any other wireless networks in your area using the same channel as you, if so change your channel. That should improve stability also.
