    TalkTalk default VPI/VCI wrong

Just been over a friend from works house, problems with new talk talk account, I went through the setup wizzard on the wireless router modem, and noticed the VPI / VCI settings were set to 5 / 35. So I set it to 0 / 38 and voila. But why was this the default? The step before asked which country it was and which ISP so I would have thought it would set them correctly?
It got me thinking as to how many other people have had/are having this trouble...

BTW, don't shoot me for him going talk talk, he was previously on AOL so it is a slight improvement!

    Hi there,

Depends which wireless router he was using, the Philips Wireless Router (TT Wireless Router) in my experience had the VPI/VCI set at 0/38 by default.

You sure he's not using another make of wireless router?

I've forgotten the manufacturer, but it was all supplied by talk talk. Oh well, one to remember.
