Does your kid like nuts and seeds?

I jokingly call Zak Jr Monkey sometimes.. but with his love on bananas and now seeds and nuts...I fully expect t find the lad swinging from the tree in the garden soon

Punpkin seeds and sunflower seeds have been popular for ages.. and then Christmas came and he tried his first walnuts, hazelnuts and almonds.. and now he's into Cashews in a big way

Anyone else feeding their little uns seeds and nuts?

My kids have never been much into them, fruit however is a different story. They live on the stuff

Knowing Faye, she'd probably choke on them and give us all a heart atack.... although I'm sure once she's a bit older she'll at least try them

I'm waiting till Hayden has a few more teeth as she's only got 2 at the moment and that she is over a year old before I introduce her to nuts and seeds.

my little 'un jack loves raisens, if left to his own devices he'd eat them all day. you give him a small bowl of them to munch on and half-an-hour to an hour he tugs you off to the kitchen, where he points to the cupboard for some more, cheeky sod and he's only 21 months.

mine does that too.. knows the cupboard where they are and demands in a fairly "I'm gonna go postal on you soon" way

Raisins are banned in our playgroup (or so my wife said a while ago) too much sugar in them apparently!

Jack will not touch fresh fruit (except bananas) but loves cashews/peanuts & anything else like that, although he does alos like to line them up on the couch & eat them one by one as well

he likes most fruits - in fact he likes pretty much anything he can get his hands on to eat. the child locks have now had to come out
