Baby arrival ...with other stuff going on

We have a due date of 28th April, so as I write, that is 13 days away. It's our first.

At the same time, going on in the background is the small matter of a new home -we're (hopefully) completing on a house purchase on Friday (20th) but because we need some stuff done to make it habitable (it's a new build) we are only going to be moving in properly, probably, on the Saturday a week after that. That's the 28th.

Although I should probably get on with my to do list, it's nice to come to hexus and forget about it all for a little while!

So, any helpful advice for some first time parents who are going to be busy between now and the actual arrival, and any stories of encouragement that you could recount for our/my benefit would be appreciated.

get the overnight bag packed, try to keep the mrs as far away from the moving stress as possible.

thankfully the painting is all done

But, the great news is we have the keys! ...so now we wait til the left over junk/stuff is ready to go + make trips back and forth from old house and storage locations!
