My four year old is not so difficult as I can find something i want to make and do it with him. I'm tracking a few lego pirate ships atm which look brilliant but may be out of our price range. We don't buy our kids much toy wise for the rest of year (apart from b'days) so its my chance to really spoil them.
What other sets look fun? there is a mining set (not sure), police station (he's not big on police), Spaceship (may be okay but a lot of propriatry pieces), the star wars ships look okay but they don't do it for me.
My youngest is proving very difficult; he is the destroyer of the two and I'm lost. It has to be indestructable but intricate enough to keep him amused. He likes climbing and sitting in small spaces. I'm tempted to just give him a cardboard box.
Any ideas or what you've chosen for similar age groups would be welcome.
