4D ultrasound scans

Hi all,
My wife is 21 weeks pregnant with our first baby, and we're planning on getting a 4D scan when she's about 26 weeks. Have any of you had one? Did you value it? Looks like it will be about £150, for 20mins, about 10 2D images, and a 10min video of the moving scan. For anyone that hasn't heard of it, basically it's a 3D reconstruction ultrasound that is recorded so you can see the baby moving in the womb. I'd be interested to hear what people think.

Fabulous, if pricey !

My stepdaughter had one and we were simply amazed !

I think the image quality is pot-luck depending on baby's position and liquor, but worth it for a nice experience and keepsake when it's good. There are some clinics that do scans for maybe £100 on offer, depends on if you're willing to part with the cash

We thought about it to for our two but we decided the money is better spent on other stuff.

We had it done about 20 weeks, well worth it, really makes it stand out! We saw a yawn on ours and it was amazing to us

That's a really good picture! I thought that younger than 20 weeks babies would look a little too skinny, but the features seem very well developed.

Well we got it done, third try lucky (each time we went she had her hands and legs over her face playing peekaboo), and we're so glad we did - great pics and video, even got what looks like a smile!
