They've only just built a new one up the A33, here. I don't even think it's opened for business yet!!

Seems a shame but as a few articles I've read suggest they really didn't move with the times. Overpriced and old stock doesn't help.
My kids never seemed to be as amazed walking in as when I was a little kid
My 4-year-old loves them, but to me, they always seemed a bit tired with the displays and the decor, even relatively new ones like Stevenage.
It was a real shame hearing about them going into administration. However, I never really went in as my parents would only take me to independent stores nearby to help support the smaller businesses. The only times I went in were when I had grown up a bit more, and even being a young teenager at the time I felt like I shouldn't use my parent's money for toys that were so expensive. Even the smaller shops had better prices than Toys R Us.
I only knew of the store near my relative's up in Derby. Never came across one in my city.
