Bentley Mulsanne? Comfy, plenty of space in the back, nicely finished. Pretty brisk too.

Toyota or Honda are the most reliable (most miles for least cost). More upmarket, maybe Skoda these days. That's where my money would go (but I would never buy new).

When did Skoda become more upmarket than Toyota or Honda? I'd put them in the VW segment of VAGs Skoda/VW/Audi stack.
