    Looking for 120mm fan

i need to get another 120mm fan to go with my antec Sonata 120mm fan. sadly i cant just buy another one as no-one has them (to my knowledge).

anyone got any suggestions for a really really quiet unmodded 120mm fan?

not sure of any particular model numbers, but papst fans are meant to be uber quiet, but they are rather expensive (ie £20-£30!), i got one second hand, and although its not exceptionally quiet on 12v, 7v is much better and still shifts lots of air

Have a look for an NMB 4710NL-04W-B59

Very quiet, and push quite alot of air at 12V, even quieter at 7V, with little decrease in pushing power

unpopular though they are, overclockers.co.uk have a good stock of papst fans. check them out while you're at it.

For joy, apparently, it was all Franny could do to hold the phone, even with both hands.

ive tried akasa and acoustifan in my sonata and i'm dissapointed with both. the akasa one is plain noisy even at 7v and the acoustifan although quiet barely shifts any air at all at 7v.

ive heard very good things about panaflo (www.dorathybradbury.co.uk) and silenx (www.kustompcs.co.uk) if it helps
