Can't get me mem card working.

I got a Nokia 3300 music for for Xmas - comes with a 64Mb card.

I stuck a 256Mb card in it and it works super - now I want to put the 64meg card in my digicam. However, for some reason it doesn't pick it up!

The 256Mb card works fine in it.

I'm suspecting filesystem could be the problem, but any suggestions are welcome - I have to swap the card back into the nokia to format it and stuff - so the quicker this is sorted, the less messing about I must do, and the happier I am.

i dont think u can use it in your camera after its been formated to mp3

i think, you need to stick it in a card reader for pc, compact flash or smar5t media whatever it be

and format the card

should then work, i tried puttin my mates smc from his nokia mp3 player thing into my mp3 player, and it wudnt play, the nokia does something to it and encrypts data so that it can only be used in a nokia

so format and all should be ok

i think that when u go from mp3 to camera then thats it no going back, or its the other way round i cant remember

Its only the file system, it should be easy to change it.

So my thoughts are confirmed - it's just the filesystem - that's what the camera's manual seems to tell me too (yes - I read it - wow!)

Still, at the moment all I have is the phone with which to access the MMC - I'll have to get inventive.
