    PSU Replacement fans?

I have a SB61G2 and I was wondering if there were any US SUPPLIERS that had replacement fans to make the rig atleast a little quieter.

Be careful changing PSU fans, underventilated PSU's have a tendency to burn out.

You have a nice -poweful- shuttle rig that generates a lot of heat and probably uses your current PSU nearly upto rated spec, personally I'd go for a 250W PSU for your rig.

AFAIK you can get quiet versions of these also.

The PSU is called the "SilentX" and it's a 250W model, which will probably help. No idea on US stockists though. It's not to be confused with "SilenX", who make after-market full-sized PSUs and other quiet cooling stuff.

    Royce,

Due to insurance, Ultim8pc can't ship anything to the USA.
But I could do it as an individual.
Maybe we could do a swap, you send me a DVD of my choice & I send you a PSU fan & Noiseblocker for the rear of the case in return?

    You can email me here.

    Hope this helps.

    Nigel
