The Sandisks are great. They are "enterprise" though. The backup (compression) software is very useful, as is the robust nature of the device (there's no cap to lose and the USB "dongle" is protected when not in use) and the fact that it is extremely easy to tell when it's in use (very noticeable light).

They are undoubtedly not as fast as the Corsair, or as sexy. But they do the job. And it's amazing, but since I got mine quite a lot of other people I work with (including many from other organisations) have bought the same drive.

    Re: USB memory stick recommendation...

Somehow the prospect of losing those lame Corsair Caps did go too well and the 16Gigs just weren’t enough for my needs, so I bought one of these cool External WD 250Gig USB drives!

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136139

It’s very light, about as much as a regular cell phone.
Very fast (I’ve achieved 33MB/s transfer rate (Write/Read)
Very quite (I don’t even notice it when it’s working)
And it’s very sleek in design.

The coolest thing is that you don’t even need extra power adapters, its powered straight from the USB port and yeah you just can’t beat 250Gigs!

    Me Happy!

However, I’m not sure if it will work well (if not at all) on the older USB 1.1 ports, will it get enough power?
