As some of the people here realise it's often not the brand of memory but the chips that are on the memory module that's the important thing.
And here's a couple of useful links listing the most brands and models of memory and what chips are on them.

Although I will add that some of the best brands hand pick and stress test indvidule chips for the best performance, However this only tends to be on there expensive "performance" models

A lot of the Crucial DDR2 Ballistic memory all looks the same to me. Why pay more for PC8500 Ballistic if "lesser" modules use the same chips?
Two reasons: the PCB and the chips being tested/guaranteed to work at the faster settings. Whether that's worth the extra is up to you, however you have to take into account the findings of the OC demi-god that is Clunk. :bowdown:
