About LinkBacksDoes anyone have any idea what would stop a W98SE pc from loading Windows when a Speedtouch 330 moem is connected, but giving no problem when it is only connected after Windows loads???

The older I get, the faster I was.
Tried turning on "Keyboard Power On" or "USB Keyboard" in the BIOS?
Not yet, but what does that do???

No idea, but it does seem to fix USB related problems.
My friend has now added - Yes..I've done all that and even been to speedtouch site and downloaded latest driver. Its a fresh installation of windows, the machine does boot if modem connected but no driver installed. Ihave heard of similar USB problems with other USB devices such as external cdrw's etc. Pulling hair out is about to start...its weird that it works perfectly once windows has booted. - Anybody got any ideas????
