Power Supply Dead Grr

I'm very disappointed to see that the Coolermaster 650watt power supply unit i purchased from yoyotech after less than a year has just died on me. I don't over clock and the total power comsumption was not straining the psu at all. And to top it off i cant find my damn receipt to get a refund. I do still have the box and orginal packaging though, so maybe its worth contacting Coolermaster directly themselves ?

Failing that, What is a very reliable psu unit for a c2d system, dvd burner, 4 sata disks, 7800gtx...

£80 - £100 is my budget.

They wont give you a refund, they will just RMA it, and replace with an equivalent.

As far as reliable PSUs are concerned, I've always liked Enermax.

I would say right now corsair is the benchmark, can't really go wrong. Though personally I've got an Antec NeoHE 550 which is brill, but that's (apparently) because it's not actually made by Antec but someone else...?

Correct, Antec don't make there own PSUs, nore do Corsair

Both the Antec NeoHE and Corsair HX are made by Seasonic, who do make exellent PSUs
The Corsair HX520w is deffinately something to look at simply because not only is it a good psu but for the price it's very hard to match the quality of it

EDIT: On topic, you wouldn't get a refund, you'd get a replacement under warranty.
RMA first and always remember to keep thoes receipt people.
