see the other thread Zak, i really doubt it's you memory, if it hit the speeds you want running asynchronous it's much more likely the northbridge, try upping the chipset voltage, i've never seen an xp1700+ that won't reach 200fsb either.

i'm sure mushkin will give you a replacement if the memory doesn't hit it's rated speed though, from what i hear, second to none customer service.

I dont doubt the Memory....besides it runs 200 FSB when its a-synchronous....

its the damn mobo....and its not got voltage adj in BIOS for the chipset :-(

Yup, but the AGP is editable on NF2 boards - its just if they have given you the option. You shouldnt change it anyway.

I think if you flash the Asus with an uber bios instead of an offical bios you do get chipset voltage options. They also reacommend getting a fan for the NB instead of the passive cooling.

Huh... It's like me with a couple of sticks of Infineon PC2700 DDR ECC Registered DIMMs... It turned out the board can't handle registered DIMMs. It has the Intel E7505 chipset, which you'd think will require registered DIMMs...!! Anyway, I just sold it in eBay at a slight loss...
