Not much difference other than looks. Both Corsair and GeIL have warranty support from the U.S so no difference there either. If you are willing to spend a bit more then this is great ram and has UK warranty support, with generally fast RMA service:

But if you aren't planning on overclocking the ram much then you may decide its not worth it.

Well as this whole setup is for my brother I don't mind getting cheaper ram (roughly £40) so long as it will overclock a bit, as he can stick a divider on it and run the FSB faster.
