120mm Case fans!!!

hey guys,

i recently purchased the CM Cosmos an just wanna know somethin about the case fans.

i've got the case fans connected to my PSU, but really i wanted to connect it to the motherboard ASUS P5K-E mobo but i cant becuase the case fans have 4pin molex connecters.

i was wondering if i purchase the 4pin to 3pin adapters, and connect them on to the motherbaord, will these fans damage the mobo in any way?.

i think there likes 3 chasis fan connecters on the mobo itself.

I don't know of any 3 pin fan header (the connections on the motherboard) to molex connectors

They only come the otherway around afaik, ie a molex through plug with a 3 pin header branching off.

you can get them, my fan controller has 3 pin sockets like on the motherboard, it came with adapter cables so you can use molex fans with it.

I'm aware its OCUK, but i checked several sites none have it :\

Also the coolermaster fans are low power so they will be fine connected to the motherboard

thanks mate i shall order two of these.

now hopefully my case will get more quiet.
