    new sn45g cables

    I just ordered a new sn45g on a whim!!!!!!!!


    as a new shuttle owner whats the deal with cables are they standard ide etc

    can i use rounded?

    yeah you can use rounded ide cables if yah like, i've got 2 in mine

    they come with a one short one for the HDD and a longer special one that can be routed round the case but there no reason not to use rounded cable.

    I use the cables supplied and there are out of the way

    i use rounded 1,s in mine too 45cm cables are the best as there pretty much the exact size you need.

    however i wish cd roms came with a type of sata plug fitted so if need be you could elimin8 rounded cables (or the standard ribbon) altogether and use the much nicer sata alternative for data transfer,i still find even rounded cables a little on the cumbersome side inside a shuttle.
