the bottom lcd is only £4 and u can add a few probes to it *i think*. the ones u can buy with the bottom one look to big for under cpu/gpu/nb but im trying to find some that wil fit. i got a TT smart fan thermocouple which try to use

as this has a clock and is soo cheap ive ordered 3, they look a bit complicated maybe but thats cos its cheap and will probleh come with full instructions

not sure, but i think hmonitors only got a 30 day trial?

    i always use speedfan

not as bloated as mbm, also gives you all voltages including 3.3v rail that some dont show.

Steve, how do u keep ure system stable at 1.6vcore? I can't run Prime95 for longer than 20 seconds at 1.6, I'm testing at 1.7 atm, but I don't think it's gonna run much longer. I'm stable at 1.8, but it means my temps are pretty high (60 degrees+ under load ). But, I guess it is the summer... I have two PC's running quite hot in a small room and my case ain't very big. I have a very similar setup to you, btw.

What are your memory timings and other voltage settings at?

You can also use Sisoft sandra too, but personally i think MBM5 is fine, you can customise it pretty well too.

Maybe Agents a little bit more picky than the rest of us

MBM5 is the best monitoring program there is, it has far more features than any other program, such as shutting down at certain temps, dashboard transparency, more customisable the list goes on, i think a lot of people are put off by it because they actually need to configure it rather than the other programs that pick up the sensors automatically. But really setting up MBM5 is a piece of cake, you just need to take your time. Below is my MBM5 dashboard just to show what it looks like when its all configured and customised labels etc.

    I prefer Windond HW Doctor.

However, I use a desktop stats program called Samurize, which can only read the temps and hardware stuff from MBM5, meaning I'm stuck with it.

memory timings are 'aggresive' setting, other voltages are defaults. The only problem ive had so far (touch wood) is the alarm beep shortky after overclocking for the first time. This was soved by a suggestion from luke

in bios load optimised defaults then set up overclock as normal- sorted

OK, I did what u said and I can now run my memory at default voltage (used to have it at 1.8v or games would crash and stuff) and my temps seem better. 50ish degrees idle and 55 degrees load

    Cheers for the help m8!
