    What about this PSU:

Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK

Corsair 520HX (made by Seasonic, modular & supposedly built to a higher spec than seasonic`s own units)?

for another £70 you could get a 3870 X2 which is the best card on the market (supposedly)!

I definitely did that. Got a thermaltake 750w psu recently, but I have no doubt i use less than 400w.

Re: fixing my pc, and then slowly upgrading - PSU 1st

If you are gaming on 1680 x 1050 or less you aren't going to notice much difference between a £100 graphics card and £400 cards atm.

Obviously there will be some but if you get something like the HD3870 or 8800GT/GTS you aren't going to be dissapointed.
