looks really good, i know i'd be happy with that set-up.

if your not overclocking, i might change the RAM. The ones you've selected is great, but in tests I've read that 1066mhz at CAS 5 is faster than 800mhz CAS 4. It depends on the application but if I remember correctly it was constantly faster.

Since you were on Overclockers they have a bargain 1066 2gb for £41, so 2 of those = £82 just about the same price. only down side is 1yr warranty.

    Re: Rate my spec! (please)

I've got Corsair at the moment but my system has died and I don't know what the cause of it is (either RAM, PSU, Mobo or GFX) - I know it's daft but it's put me off Corsair anyway.

freddie, sounds tempting but from experience, I tend to steer clear of "value" range kit. The fact that it's the most ugly RAM I've ever seen too and doesn't have heatsinks is a bit of a turn off. Latency wise, Cas 5 1066mhz RAM is only 0.625ns quicker than Cas 4 800mhz RAM so I doubt you'd really see any real world improvement. For the performance trade-off, I'd rather have good warranty and sexy heatspreaders with slightly slower RAM.

One thing that does intrigue me though is that the ASUS P5K Premium says it natively supports 1066mhz RAM at 1400mhz speeds due to it's "techno-speed-supa-dupa-booster-thingy" - Anyone know anything about this? Any good?
