no bios beeps

Hey guys just finished installing new motherboard into my system as old motherboard poped its clogs, the motherboard in question is an asus p5e with a q6600 and ocz reaper ram 8500. Upon installation of the motherboard the computer started up with one beep and the installation of windows that i already had on my hard drive asked me for the boot disk. So i turned pc off and when i restarted nothing no beeps nothing. Any suggestions as what is wrong guys? i am totally lost dont know what is wrong.

This is a Power supply or system board problem.. are all your components powered up correctly? Make sure all connectors are firmly in place and try again

EDIT: also, make sure all your RAM is in place as it should
