    Re: Which 24" Monitor

I've just heard so many bad things about the Samsung's and their panels that for money I'm going to be spending I don't want to risk it.

I get the impression that your mind is pretty much made up, so just to toss a little spanner in the works - this link (if you haven't found it before) may be of interest

    NEC MultiSync LCD2470WNX - TrustedReviews

    as is this one.

After Hours Computers - NEC MultiSync LCD2470WNXBLK Black 24" LCD TFT

I'm not sure if it can be found cheaper elsewhere (not broken into my piggy bank yet) but it just falls within your budget... (The picture on the above link actually looks like the silver bezel version, not the black)

    Re: Which 24" Monitor

I am holding back as all the 24" seem to have a drawback.

    Re: Which 24" Monitor

What was the drawback with the Dell? The lack of HDMI port or something else?

I'm looking at one of these myself: would hate to think I missed something.
