yeah, you double the RAM speed to get the actual speed..
same with graphics cards aswell..

413 is already 800MHz, but i thought you might be aiming for 800MHz specifically.

you'll need to run 2 instances of that and set the affinity in the task manager



set 1 of them to run on #0 and #1
and set the other to run on #2 and #3..

double click on the application icon twice, and 2 instances of it should then open..
then you edit each 1 accordingly in Task Manager.

Will only open once. Computer crashed trying to open twice.

i can't get that to work with Vista though

UPDATE:
Altered the timings back to 5-5-5-18 which is what is recommended by the motherboard for 400MHz and corrected the voltage to 1.9v

Tried again and this time after a re-boot I was able to open two instances of orthos. Left it running for 30 minutes and found that peak temperatures were:- Motherboard 42 °C - - CPU 54°C.
They mainly hovered around:- Motherboard 36-39 °C - - CPU 46-50°C

those are decent temperatures.. no problems keeping it at that set-up..
but you'll be better off setting the RAM back to 444-12 and upping the voltage on it, 'cause afterall.. OC'ing is all about going past what the hardware recommends..

4-4-4-12 was recommended for 266MHz which is 1:1 with the CPU at stock so I have actually OC'ed the RAM in order to achieve 416MHz. The difference between the two I reckon would be unnoticeable. Yes???

@ 416MHz you've overclocked the ram by 16MHz..
the 1:1 is so that you can overclock the processor and still keep the RAM around its normal operating speeds.
you might not notice a difference with the RAM at 444-12 compared to 555-18, but there definately will be a difference..
if it'll do it, then why not?
