Are there any with a chipset newer than the intel 945?
Are there any with a chipset newer than the intel 945?
G31/G33/G35 are newer
also nVidia 8200 & 630i
SIM's are newer as are the nvidia 610 and 630i boards .
AMD wise there is the 690 and 780G boards the latter of which comes with a very good integrated graphics solution and the nvidia 8200 (beaten to it )
G35 is the only one offering DVI of the intel boards.. and the nvidia 630 boards offer DVI but only single channel RAM.
What's wrong with the 945 chipset? You can get nice DVI-capable ones
Have the Nvidia 8200 Chipsets come out? How do these compare to the 680G/780G AMD chipsets?
Edit: Sorry, meant 690G chipset.

There is a preview here (quite extensive preview)
NVIDIA GeForce 8200 Preview - Palit N78S :: TweakTown
It's compared to the 690G not the 780G though.
Looks to be good. I didn't really read it but I would imagine they are riddled with driver issues for the new hybrid SLi where I believe you can save power by using the onboard graphics rather than a discrete gfx card when doing easier graphical tasks.
I don't know how much it will be but from a price/performance point of view I like the 780G boards.
Cheers mate.
Finally, A DFI mATX board, it being a P45 chipset.
