Heatsink questions & advice needed!

As above it can passive cool a Q6600 at 3.4GHz from what I've seen. The fan it comes with is awesome too, you wouldn't hear it for trying anyway.

Expensive but very good. As TAKTAK says you really should consider the TRUE at that sort of price, but the TRUE does prefer a faster fan.

The normal ninja will cool at 3.4GHz with an fan quite happily, probably more in an antec 900.

I've had the scythe infinity and it was a beast of a cooler but i did have to lap it. Its a bit of a pain to install aswell as the push pins dont really cut it and making your own mounting takes time. I'm still throwing my vote with the xigmatek though. It comes with a really good pwm fan and has bested the true in quite a few reviews. Also its only £22. Its works incredibly well on its own but i've chosen to run it with the thermalright bolt thru kit and replaced the fan with the zalman f-3. The zalman f-3 has really good back pressure and blows a tun of air at full (1800rpm). But using speedfan you can lower it all the way down to 600rpm so its utterly silent. Best combination in my books. Its not pwm though so youd have to check wether your board can alter non-pwm fan speeds.
