Liking the mini ninja. Do you have to take the mobo out to fit it? I might stick one in my htpc as the heatsink is probably the loudest bit. Or perhaps just clean all of the dust out of it.

Not around too often!
I used the instructions @ HERE
They worked fine for me...
But I probably just got lucky... ^^
I think PowerDVD does, I will check once I have it installed...
Well I haven't set it up yet. No sound at the moment lol. I need to get Windows installed properly first
Well I put it on before the mobo went in the case, but I can imagine it being done inside the case, although it would be very difficult because of the size... TBH, you are better off removing mobo from the case before fitting it.
I followed that guide on my current desktop a couple of months ago, but I couldn't get accelerated playback

I tidied it up, its quite nice now. I'm sure staffsMike will love it... Will put a pic up later
menthel, after checking again I can confidently say that you will have to take the mobo out completely to put the ninja on safely... you can't get to one of the push pins thingies as its in the corner of the case. You can push it in with a screw driver or something, but then there is a good chance that the screw driver will damage something on the motherboard...

Thanks again. Perhaps I will hold off. I can never be bothered to remove my mobo just for a bit more peace and quiet.

I call it staffsMike style
Are you proud of me staffsMike?
Edit: Oh crap I forgot to close those cable ties
Thats much better
New hole eh?
I don't suppose it's long enough to run the circumference of the mobo is it?
It's a tricky one for sure.
Ahh, I got an idea, I can put it one PCI slot down, and job done
Not yet, got other things I need to sort out first. I will probably do it in a few days...
btw, does anyone know if it is possible for the mce remote to turn a PC on?
