    92mm Fan Recommendations?

    Hi,

I've got a Thermaltake LanBox VF1000SWA and I want to replace the front blue 'silent' fan as it's like sitting next to hairdryer. The size of the fan is apparently 90mm but as there aren't many of those kicking about I'll try and force a 92mm one instead, 2mm can't make that much difference... Could someone recommend a 92mm fan that is actually 'silent' and preferably with blue LEDs?

I like the look of this one as it comes with 3 speed settings: Antec-TriCool-92mm-speed-fan, its just not got the blueness I like. I'd post a link but I appear to be prevented due to my newbieness.

Has anyone replaced the fans on a LanBox before?

    Thanks!

I usually go for the Akasa amber fans. I have used the 120 and 92 versions and they are very quiet. A bit low on the blueness though. Scan have a NorthQ one with much blueness but can't comment on the noise.

    There's actually no such thing as a 90mm fan. They're all 92mm.
It's just that... for whatever reason... some sites just round the figure to the nearest whole 10

As for which fan: The Arctic-Cooling 9 PWM looks like it might be a good choice... particular given its low price (just £5.75)

Noctua do a 92mm fan and its super silent - no blue leds though you will have to add those separately
