    my new mini keyboard;)

    hi

jus thought ide share a few pic,s of my new mini usb (also ships with usb to ps2 converter) keyboard and optical mouse, its benq,s answer to any1 looking for a mini keyboard/mouse for there sff or shuttle but dont wanna pay rediculous prices:

sorry for the dodgy quality of the pics, they dont realy do this lil beuty any justice at all,the keboard itself measures only 270x130x3mm w/d/h and is just a tad bit smaller than the depth of a shuttle .

it has a very nice keypad also and is supprisingly easy to use considering its tiny little size considering im used to full sized keyboards,it has a few hotkeys etc for browsing/mail/volume/sleep etc but ive never bothered to try em yet nor have i tried the uber tiny optical mouse but i have to say im very impressed with the whole package and its price i hear you ask?

£36.99 shipped within 1 day (was amazed at the quality of service/shipping) from special reserve , so if ure in the market for the smallest mini keyboard you can get ure hands on for such a great (sensible) price then you need look no further aswell as being aesthetically pleasing to the eye its also very comfortable and is a whole 30mm smaller in width than the more expensive cherry mini keyboard or anything similar.

    absolutely great .

i dont think so of yet scupa but when they decide to ile be wanting to buy a black 1 and use this 1 for my silver shuttle .

im not sure where to get the keyboard by itself unrealrocks, but im sure it wont be much cheaper buying it by itself iirc they bundled the mouse as a package and imho its not actually that bad a mouse either ,perfect for just slinging into a shuttlebag and its reel dinky and cute lookin and optical ofcourse .
the wire is a little on the thin side mind and my first thought was that it looked a little weak and worried incase my cats took a liking to its cuteness while i was @ work and ravaged the lil thing, the wire doesnt look very strong .

but aside from that imho i dont think any1 would be dissapointed if they bought 1 of these ultra mini keyboard/mouse sets from benq, there made pretty darn well and have a lovely clean cuteness about them with a comfy lappy type keypress,oh and need i mention the very sensible price too (and to think i almost chose a £50 cherry mini over this to) and ofcourse afaik its also the smallest usb keyboard on the market, infact talking about it is making me want to purchase another rite now, hell itle be here tommora if i was to order it,great service from specialreserve.com .

Will it fit into the 3.5" floppy bay ?

    hi

this was 1 of the primary reasons i bought the keboard as i was looking for a gaming keyboard small enuff for a shuttle bag, from what ive used ofit its great and im actually supprised how easy it is to get used to,havnt found myself fumbling over keys or anythin yet realy.
the keys are slightly smaller yes,as are they tighter together but it works well.

icekay the display is a crystalfontz 2x16 usb lcd bought from crystalfontz themselves in america,it doesnt fit into a 3.5 bay the display is basically hidden behind the custom faceplate, however if uve seen my silver sn41g2 that houses a matrix orbital usb 2x20 lcd which can be housed in 3.5 bay if ure prepared to mod alittle.
