I got an SG03, it turned out much better than expected, fitted a 4870 no problem if you move the fan up.

It's wider than the TJ08 though which was his concern I believe. I'd take the TJ08 anyway, far better cooling and more room for a decent HSF.

    Re: SilverStone SST-SG02B-F Sugo

Ive not managed to find another case I like for the same kind of money so I think I still want to get this one. Just need to decide what to do with the graphics card now. Ive got 2 options realy either mod the case or Fit a 8800GTS which was the quickest 9" nvidia card i could find, what I might do it order everything bar the graphics card and have a look at the case and decide wheather to mod or not.

Fair enough but you'll no doubt have to pay more money for less performance.. or bodge your case.

You can even get gainward HD4850's. That would tempt me

One nvidia feature that realy interests me is the hybrid sli feature. If im not playing games I can at the click of a button switch to the integrated mobo gpu and put the graphics card into bedtime mode

Are you going for AMD then? That is the only way to get that feature with the nvidia 8200 boards. Plus it doesn't really work, drops about 15W and the power is still going into the 9800 it just turns the fan off so if doean't save on heat just a bit of noise.

LN18724 Antec Fusion Silver MediaCentre MicroATX Case with 430W PSU mATX £94.49 £111.03

    LN23890 AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ AM2 , Brisbane, Dual Core, 2.9GHz, 2x512KB Cache, Retail £54.19 £63.67

    LN23639 4GB (2x2GB) Corsair TwinX DDR2 XMS2 Dominator, PC2-8500(1066), 240Pin, NonECC Unbuffered, CAS 5, EPP £69.99 £82.24

    LN23368 XFX NVIDIA GeForce 8200, MIA78S8209, SAM2+, PCI-E 2.0x16, DDR2 1066MHz, SATAII, SATA RAID, uATX, VGA £47.63 £55.97

    LN22642 500 GB Samsung HD502IJ Spinpoint F1, SATA 300, 7200 rpm, 16MB Cache, 8.9 ms, NCQ £38.21 £44.90

    Re: SilverStone SST-SG02B-F Sugo

Well that makes sense then good review of 8200/8300 here
    http://www.silentpcreview.com/article853-page1.html

I'm not convinced by the hybrid SLi stuff though. It's a fantastic idea on paper and I was really looking forward to it, but from that review it's a bit of a let down to me.

    Re: SilverStone SST-SG02B-F Sugo

Cheers for that link, ive been looing for a review. Yeah it would apear it doesnt do as much as I hoped but I do like the fact it can turn the gpu fan off when not playing games while not roasting the card. Talking of motherboards... Ive selected the xfx one so far, I like the heatpipe setup on it but im a little concerened the first ram bank will be obstructed by the ninja mini. Also i dont know if i'd be better with the cpu location closer to the side for the outtake fan to suck.

Its never easy picking a new system when you want it to be quiet, cool, low power, high performance, low cost and contemporary looking
