Question Is the PSU I just ordered up to the job?

The horse has kind of bolted already as my order now says shipped but is the HX520 powerful enough for my new build with an OC to 3Ghz?

I was on a budget (as the Mrs probably thinks I've spent half what I actually have)

i think it should be ample, they ran quadfire 3870x2's on the 520 with 4gbram and quadcore and it was fine so with 1 card, 2gb ram and quad your fine.

I can't stress this enough: Most single card PCs don't draw over 300W. With a heavy overclock on everything in your system you are going to struggle to reach 400W on max load.

If your CPU overclocking starts to draw 500W then it's time to get the fire extingusher out, as it would be melting a hole through your chassis.
