    460w Gigabyte Superb PSU

Was looking for a budget PSU to upgrade the Dell 350w PSU unit was using in a recent build, and I saw the Gigabyte one on Scan.

    http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?WebProductId=691095

Reviews are thin on the ground for this.

Anyone have any insights on this PSU?

I like that it has 4xSata as most budget PSUs only have 1 or 2 SATA cables.

Not that happy with the Dell PSU as it power cables are short (mATX design) and barely reach the DVD & HDD in the ATX case.

I like the Corsair VX450 that I putin my Dell PC but think one of these would be overkill for the system:-
Coolermaster CM330 case + extra fan
    Gigabyte GA-P31-DS3L
E2180 - currently at stock (overclock to 3ghz once system has been running longer)
    2x1gb Corsair PC6400 2.1v 4-4-4-12
    WD250AYYS
    Single Optical Drive
ATI 2400pro (upgrading to HD3650 or 8600GT when I can get one for £35)

It just seems too cheap at £25, but most other PSUs with the connectors I would like are £35-40 and for that I might aswell spend the £44 on a VX450

    Re: 460w Gigabyte Superb PSU

For your current setup I doubt you would have any problems tbh. If it cant handle you system and a bit of OC then it fails at being a psu. However from looking at its design, I can tell that it might be pretty hot and noisy.

    Edit, today only; £22.31 ....HAHA
