    Unhappy

joshwa - oh, damn, thix suxx The "newer" version is cheatable ****? And what about submiting them the big file, packed with zip it should be (maybe?) pretty small and if it containing something to verify, well, then we fixed the verification issue?

I don't know. Never understand the nature of cheating - eg. why cheat, when you know the scores everyone applauding you about it cheated?

Beats me. And well, is then possible to ask you to remove my old scores, when I gain a new, higest one? I was in process of resoldering caps for better ones on the mobo + several tweaks - all in all it should give benchably stable 250 - 260MHz FSB and 2800 - 3000Mhz stable CPU, witch will blow my old score away, lol

    Red face

And now a little update. I finally get hold of the remaining caps and finished my mobo and begin with little OC, witch should show how the mobo was improved - if at all. For start I used freshly obtained AXP-M 2400+ CPU, witch is not very good clocker, it need terribly high 1.950Vcore to pass Hexus PI fast stable at poor 2700Mhz, however - there we go:

In case you wonder - yes, it is validated: http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=83894
(hexus PI fast not fake - v4.1 used, grab it there and see how fast you can make it for yourself - AXP WR is 43.92 sec by SAE)

I'm going to exchange the CPU for my 2600+ one for some true benchmarking, tough it looks like the job was at least did not make the OC worser, hehe

With any luck that should say it all, I couldn't get the other half of the screen chopped off, but I've spent most of tonight pushing this little thing that far. The ram was Patriot LLK PC3200 which apparently has the TCCD chips in it given the 8 pins on the back of the ram.

    Wink

Not bad, mate, but I got slightly faster machine now - Sapphire Grouper A9RX480 - and my very first very little overclocking experiments:

45th in the database - not bad for first try. Aiming on sub-30sec SuperPI now

Conroe is unstopable. In 2006 we see a bellow 10sec SuperPi 1M for sure. Already pretty close at 11.266 and that is pre-sale chip. With later steppings, well... Damn, this IS fast!

If you guys want HEXUS pifast up and running again, i will look into doing it.
However, its not going to be worth it if only 5 people are going to be up for it.

If not Pifast then something similar - If for no other reason than it makes a good historical read of the ever increasing computing power beneath our fingers - someday computer historians will be analysing this thread!

Thyme and Pifast - fly past fast.
