    Power Supply Problem (HELP)

    Hi
    HELP

Just transfered my 845PEfsir/2.66/512Mb/2*WD120mb Raid0/MSI5600/SonyCDRW/Modem into a new Antec Sonata case (very nice).

Been havin lots of problems with lock ups - (the screen just freezes) - so decieded to reinstall XP-pro. Finished up re-partitiong and reformatting the drive.

Had to use the Quick format option as PC froze during the format.

I wonder if this is a problem with the ANTEC 380W PSU - all the voltages show OK

Surley 380W is enough for my setup. Anyone help or suggest any other cause.

    Thanks in advance

odd, i would imagine that the antecs have good power ratings. It's not always down to what wattage the actual power supply unit is

Try running memtest to see if its the RAM.

Antecs are rated as the best in the business so i wouldnt image it to be that, unless you have had it ages.

Maybe it could be a build up of dust/heat somewhere? Try cleaning the componants and re-applying Artic Silver, or whatever thermal paste you use.

    Power supply (HELP2)

Tried cleaning/reseating the CPUfan and gen clean earlier no success. Begining to suspect Hard Drives. PC seems to be 'stuttering' as if its struggling to read from HD.
